Shared Discovery

Grant-funded research by Lewis & Clark students and faculty is the focus of a new website.

At Lewis & Clark, our students prize their relationships with nationally recognized professors. Whether they’re engaged in classroom discussion or collaborating in the lab or field, students and faculty share an intellectual curiosity and desire to find meaningful solutions to real-world problems.

Thanks to generous grants from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the John S. Rogers Science Research Program, many students spend their summer working in tandem with faculty on graduate-level research projects. A new collaborative research site designed by the digital initiatives team at Watzek Library showcases projects completed last summer and will highlight future endeavors. Students also have the opportunity to present their work during the Festival of Scholars in the spring semester.
