Watzek Library introduces Student-Faculty Collaborative Research website

The L&C Collaborative Research website profiles student-faculty research and creative activities at the College of Arts and Sciences.

At the Festival of Scholars on Saturday, April 26th, Watzek Library launched the Lewis & Clark Collaborative Research website. The site serves to profile student-faculty research and creative activities at the College of Arts and Sciences.

Hopefully, the site will spark the interests of students and encourage them to pursue the many opportunities available for student research at Lewis & Clark.  It should also serve as a record of student/faculty scholarship over time and foster interdisciplinary connections between academic areas of the College. Furthermore, the site is a venue for the wider dissemination of research activities to external audiences including scholars, prospective students, and the general public.

The initial set of projects on the site includes activities from the Summer 2013 student-faculty research grants. Going forward, the site will represent CAS Summer projects as well as research-intensive courses in the Fall and Spring semesters.

Construction of the site was funded by a generous grant from the Andrew Mellon Foundation.
