Common Goals

Student-athletes share what attracted them to Lewis & Clark.

At Lewis & Clark, student-athletes work hard both on the field and in the classroom. It’s often the combination of our outstanding academics and their passion for sport that draws them to campus.

Below, current student-athletes tell us what attracted them to Palatine Hill.

Ben Neves ’14

Hometown: Campbell, California

Major: Economics

When I visited, I felt a sense of community that no other college had. During my summer campus tour with Coach Foreman, I met approximately 27 new people. The friendliness and warmth of each individual really won me over.

Aurora Bailey ’16

Hometown: Castro Valley, California

Major: Biology

I wanted a small school with great academics where I could still run competitively. It’s nice to know that my entire team, as well as other athletes here, balance sports and schoolwork.

Casey Zinn ’15

Hometown: Chino, California

Major: Psychology

On my recruiting visit I felt really comfortable. I liked that it was a small school that was still passionate about sports. I liked the small class sizes, and that campus wasn’t all spread out. I got to meet all the coaches and players on the basketball team and really felt I would fit in with them.

Carter Bagley ’16

Hometown: Duluth, Minnesota

Major: Biochemistry/Molecular Biology

I chose to attend Lewis & Clark because it is a top-tier school. The campus is beautiful and I knew I could get a quality education while also playing baseball.

Alli Rotunno ’14

Hometown: Greeley, Colorado

Major: Psychology

I liked that Lewis & Clark had a strong psychology program and a great set of professors. Once I visited, I was sold! Everyone was so friendly and it seemed like a place I would enjoy and fit into well.
