Hansink graduated from Lewis & Clark College with a bachelor’s degree in English. While at the College, she took part in the Scotland overseas study program and participated in student government.

One of Hansink’s favorite topics of conversation is the appreciating value of a liberal arts education in a fast-changing world. Her own experience eloquently informs that discussion. After graduation, Hansink worked in the College’s annual giving department. She then built a career in sales and marketing in the hospitality business before making her first foray into consulting a decade ago, when she led the marketing effort for KPMG International’s technology practice in the Southwest.

Currently, Hansink does volunteer work for Lewis & Clark’s College of Arts and Sciences admissions department and serves as an L&C Network career advisor. She resides in San Francisco.
