It is now struct ured as a regular course offering (TH 252 Rehearsal and Performance\, Dan ce) that sequences students through TH 308 (Dance Composition and Improvi sation) in preparation to choreograph. \; Though the Extravaganza is now formally presented on the Fir Acres Mainstage\, we still encourage ch oreographers to experiment with new ideas and to investigate and invent n ew movement vocabulary. \; \; Student choreographers are encourag ed to combine skills they develop in class with their own aesthetic sensi bility. \; We invite those students with a high level of training and technical ability and those students with no training or performance exp erience to audition.
