Have you heard about mindfulness but you’re not really sure what it is or how to get started? John Devlin, a local civil rights lawyer and mediator, will provide an introduction to mindfulness and how it can help law students and lawyers deal with the challenges presented by their stressful jobs. Topics will include the emerging scientific research into the benefits of mindfulness and practical tips on how to get started. No prior experience is necessary – this session is geared toward anyone with curiosity about the topic.
