Our Alumni Wine Tasting series continues with a visit to Elk Cove Vineyards in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Roughly one hour from Portland, Elk Cove was the founding winery and vineyard in what is now the Yamhill-Carlton American Viticultural Area (AVA).
Owner and Winemaker Adam Campbell ’95 is the son of Elk Cove founders Pat and Joe Campbell. Adam grew up on the Elk Cove Estate property and spent his summers in the vineyard and on the bottling line, developing a special connection to the vineyards. He now farms 400 Estate Vineyards in four separate AVAs in the Northern Willamette Valley of Oregon. He continues his parents vision of producing the highest quality cool climate varietals and now sells his wines in restaurants and wine shops throughout the USA and in over 15 other countries around the world.
This event will touch on the Oregon Pinot Noir Story, past, present and future!
