Science Faculty Lecture Series: Mapping the Brain in Living Color with “Brainbow” featuring Associate Professor Tamily Weissman-Unni

Kicking off our fall Science Faculty Lecture Series, this presentation is the first in a three-part series being offered this fall. Keep an eye on our virtual events webpage for details on future presentations. Mapping the Brain in Living Color with “Brainbow” Presented by Professor Tamily Weissman-Unni Join Associate Professor of Biology Tamily Weissman-Unni as she explains how a scientific method called “Brainbow” can be used to study the brain. She color-codes living cells with multicolor fluorescent proteins, and illustrates how the brain forms in tiny, transparent zebrafish embryos.
