E&D Spring Kick-Off Colloquium: “Telling Histories”

Third lecture in the Exploration & Discovery 2019-2020 Colloquium Series:  Enduring Ideas, Enduring Change.  Attended by all E&D students and faculty, this event features an exciting panel: Kaimana Kahale (’20), History Major, who will talk about his research as a history major, specifically centering around his projects on indigenous cultures Elliott Young, Professor of History (Latin America), who will be presenting on the history of immigrant detention, the subject of a book he is finishing Joni Kimoto, survivor of Oregon’s Japanese internment camp A Q&A will follow.  Kurt Ikeda, Education Manager from the Japanese American Museum of Oregon, will join the Q&A. This event is free and open to the Lewis & Clark Community.
