Are you interested in international development efforts? Curious about how to turn your passion for social justice into a career? Come to this talk to learn about Lyla Bashan’s (’02 CAS) journey from Lewis & Clark to her current work in Armenia.

Bashan is a Foreign Service Officer with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) currently serving in Armenia. Her recent book Global: An Extraordinary Guide for Ordinary Heroes covers the inner-workings of the international system, the key problems and players, and how to kick-start a career in international development.

Student Leadership and Service’s Good Work series highlights the stories of workers for positive social change.
