Welcome to the Lewis & Clark College Art Department blog! We are excited to provide this new hub for all sorts of art related topics. We will be interviewing current art students (especially seniors) and professors about their current projects and visions. You can also find information about art related events on campus such as the Visiting Lecture Series as well as information about faculty shows and lectures on campus and in Portland. You can also find information about internship and scholarship opportunities for people interested in arts. Don’t forget to go to first Thursday this week, most galleries and museums in the city will be free to enter (the best time is late afternoon and early evening). It is a great opportunity to get off campus and see some interesting art.
