Frequently Asked Questions

  • How can my gift count toward LC Day of Giving?

    All gifts made on March 13, 2019 will count towards LC Day of Giving. If you would like to make your gift in the form of a check, it must either be postmarked on March 13, or sent in advance, dated March 13, with a note in the subject line indicating Day of Giving. All gifts sent in through our Day of Giving invitation and postmarked by March 13 will also count.

  • Who can participate?

    Anyone! Alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends.

  • How can I give?

    You can make a gift online, or call 503-768-7900 to make a gift using your credit card. All checks received or postmarked March 13, 2019 will also count. If you would like to make your gift in the form of a check, it must either be postmarked on March 13, or sent in advance, dated March 13, with a note in the subject line indicating Day of Giving.   • I’ve already made my gift this year. Will it count if I give again?

    Yes! We greatly appreciate the additional support.

  • I make a monthly gift. Will my gift count towards the gift total?

    Yes! All monthly recurring gifts and pledge payments made in March 2019 will count toward our Day of Giving goal. Additional support, however, is always appreciated and will still count toward our goal.

  • Does my Day of Giving gift count towards my reunion class goal?

    Yes! Your gift today will also count towards your reunion class gift if you are celebrating a reunion this year.

  • What does the $100,000 match support?

    Our generous donors have directed their gifts to the College of Arts and Sciences Annual Fund. The Annual Fund benefits students immediately by supporting our highest priorities and most critical needs such as funding scholarships, retaining and recruiting superb faculty, and sustaining innovative academic and community enrichment programs.
