My name is Ella Santana-Propper. I grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona and am currently a Junior at Lewis & Clark studying biology and neuroscience. This past summer I conducted research on campus as part of the Rogers Science Research Program studying the evolution of Caribbean spiders with Dr. Greta Binford. In addition to research, I enjoy studying Spanish and this Spring I’ll be studying abroad in Alicante, Spain. When I am not studying, I like to hang out with friends, fence (with swords–no, they are not sharp), hike, write, practice the piano, do yoga, or knit quietly with a good book or TV show and a warm mug of tea.
Activities:
Two of my passions are Spanish and Fencing. Here at Lewis & Clark I have had the privilege to be the President of the Spanish Club since my Sophomore year. Since the Spring of my first year I have acted as one of two captains of the Fencing Club.
