Hailing from the mountain deserts of the Southwest, Maura still isn’t used to the Northwest rain. She loves her major, but has far-flung interests that include Spanish, computer science, math, visual arts, the outdoors, singing, and playing the piano. Passionate about community nonprofit work, she hopes to get her doctorate in nonprofit management or public policy and work with arts education in underserved communities.
