Come chat with Kira Borchers, LC’s German Language Assistant, author of six published novels, illustrator, and fore edge painter (the painting of the end pages of a book) about her experience working in the German publishing industry and as an author. Find out how Kira published her first book at the age of 18!

Workshop: Tools for Teaching English Abroad

Academic English Studies is offering a workshop to students who are considering or planning on teaching English abroad. The workshop will focus on practical skills such as writing lesson plans and creating communicative activities. Language Clubs Easter Scavanger Hunt

On Sunday, April 17th, the Language Clubs are collaborating to organize an amazing Easter Scavenger Hunt.
You will be put into teams, either randomly or with your friends, with people who are learning the same language as you.
With your team, you will run across campus from clue to clue. Clues will be written in the language you are learning and they will lead you to chocolate eggs hidden on campus, and eventually to a treasure!
Ready to be the first team to find the treasure?
Cultural Credit will be offered for participation. Even will take place at the ILC, Miller 211.
