Pioneer Debate Institute

The 2019 Pioneer Debate Institute will take place July 13-27 on the Lewis & Clark campus.

The forensics program at Lewis & Clark College would like to invite students and coaches to attend the 2019 Pioneer Debate Institute to be held July 13-27 on the beautiful campus of Lewis & Clark College.

We will offer programs in policy debate, Lincoln-Douglas debate, public forum debate, parliamentary debate. We also offer a flexible class for speech events as well. The standard program will be two weeks for each format, but 1 week options (July 13-20) will be available upon request.

We aim to have one of the most qualified staffs in the nation. Every teaching staff member will have significant high school and collegiate debate experience across a variety of formats and will represent some of the region’s finest. We will maintain a 5 to 1 student to faculty ratio. Joe Gantt, director of the Lewis & Clark forensics program, will direct the institute.

Please email any questions that you might have to pioneerdebate@lclark.edu. The menu on the right-hand side has information about the institute and a form with which you can register.
