Learning Outcomes
Upon graduation, psychology majors at Lewis & Clark College will be able to
- Understand the major concepts, theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and historical trends in psychology.
- Critically evaluate research methodologies, scientific theories, empirical research findings, and applications of psychological principles.
- Apply and interpret basic research methods and statistical analyses.
- Communicate effectively in a variety of formats and in a manner that reflects strong critical thinking skills.
- Produce empirical research reports and literature reviews that conform to American Psychological Association (APA) style and good experimental design principles.
