Curated by L&C students,
Spencer Byrne-Seres, L&C’13, Frances Li, L&C’13, and Claire Tsuji, L&C’13, the exhibit is open daily throughout the symposium.
Curatorial Statement: This year’s symposium art exhibit, entitled “Gender, Religion, and Iconography,” examines the intersection between gender, religion and experience of self. Artmaking is a process informed by identity; these artists explore how facets of gender and faith manifest themselves in their practice. Production of gender, production of religion, production of art—we interrogate these interrelated topics both in a collective and individual sense.
