Chemistry Software

We have a site license for ChemDraw. To get your own copy go to the Perkin Elmer Informatics website (opens in a new window), search for Lewis & Clark College, and then click “Register”. After this create an account using your @lclark.edu email address. You’ll then be able to download the software and an activation code.

Symbolic and Quantitative Resource Center

The Symbolic and Quantitative Resource Center (SQRC), located in J.R. Howard 134,  is a free, student-staffed service. Many of the tutors are Chemistry or Biochemistry & Molecular Biology majors who can assist students taking Chemistry courses from 100 through 220.

While the tutors focus on problem-solving skills and understanding basic concepts, specific help is also available for homework, lab reports, and exam preparation.

Check the SQRC site for schedules, which vary from semester to semester.
