Senior Soirée

The Senior Experience Committee is excited to announce this year’s kickoff event, Senior Soirée! Senior Soirée is an event dedicated to celebrating your last semester at Lewis & Clark. It is a time to mingle and enjoy being in community with your peers. This year, the event will take place in the troom and feature live music, snacks, and alcohol. Please join us in celebrating all of your accomplishments thus far!

*If you are over the age of 21 and would like to drink, please remember to bring a government-issued ID. Without this, you will not be allowed to consume alcohol*

This event is open to seniors only.

If you plan to participate in commencement, please take advantage of this opportunity to meet with Professor Katherine FitzGibbon. Everyone wants to make sure that you are properly recognized in front of your family and friends. If there is anything unusual or challenging about the pronunciation of your name, you are encouraged to attend a name pronunciation verification drop-in session. It is recommended that you attend an early session – do not wait until the last minute. The late sessions are typically extremely busy and the wait is lengthy.

Drop-in sessions will be held in Evans 18. You need information or directions, please contact the Music Department at 503-768-7460.

Paul discusses the essential tools that you need for your job hunt, shares methods to stay positive and on track during a job hunt, and provides ways to assess whether the job you are offered is your next best job.

Seniors: Come to network, stay for fashion! 

This event will provide informal networking opportunities and tips on professional appearance and etiquette. We will also provide tips on your LinkedIn presentation - and take a fresh photo for your profile! Food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Seniors must go to the Career Center to pick up a ticket.

Steps to Success:

Step 1. Learn how to network over drinks and appetizers.

Step 2. Watch your fellow Pioneers work the runway wearing clothes fit for an interview. 

Step 3. Feel confident in your knowledge of professional fashion!

$50 gift cards will be drawn throughout the evening. Must be present to win!

This event is part of Senior Experience and is sponsored by the Career Center.
