Charles R. Batishko BS ’67, September 22, 2021, age 78. Batishko worked at Kitt Peak National Observatory and later taught physics at the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls. Later, he served as technical director of the International Optical Engineering Society. Batishko loved Klamath Falls and the variety of natural environments within an easy travel distance. Survivors include wife Karen; children Corrie, Andrew, and Jill; and nine grandchildren.

Edward Cheff BS ’67, January 15, 2022, age 78. Cheff was a talented baseball and football player while at Lewis & Clark. He then began a long career in coaching in Tillamook, Oregon. He was inducted into the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Survivors include his wife, Karen, and his children, Trevor, Tyler, and Toby.
