College Advising Center

For First-Year Students

Welcome to Lewis & Clark!

Your first year at a liberal arts college is an opportunity to learn about fascinating new subjects, delve deeper into areas in which you already held an interest in high school, and begin exploring LC’s general education curriculum.

The College Advising Center is here to help you throughout the summer, and beyond. As you work through the items on your NSO Summer Checklist, you can start by exploring our advice in our “For First-Year Students” webpages to answer many of your questions about registration, placement exams, and which classes to choose. You can also keep track of the action items you need to complete this summer in your Pioneer Portal.

Please contact the College Advising Center with any questions you have about your academic plans and progress: contact your advisor in the College Advising Center or make an appointment (not sure who your College Advisor is? Check your Lewis & Clark email for messages from them). When you arrive on campus in the fall, you will also be matched with a Pre-Major Faculty Advisor.
