For First-Year Students
Welcome to Lewis & Clark!
Your first year at a liberal arts college is an opportunity to learn about fascinating new subjects, delve deeper into areas in which you already held an interest in high school, and begin exploring LC’s general education curriculum.
The College Advising Center is here to help you throughout the summer, and beyond. Along with the First-Year Students Guide to Pioneer Success (GPS), you can explore the advice in our “For First-Year Students” webpages to answer many of your questions about registration, placement exams, and which classes to choose.
You can also contact the College Advising Center with any questions you have about your academic plans and progress: email firstname.lastname@example.org, call 503-768-7600, or make an appointment. When you arrive on campus in the fall, we will match you with a specific College Advisor and a Pre-Major Faculty Advisor.
The first place to start is by completing the Advising Questionnaire. The Advising Questionnaire is crucial in helping us match you with a pre-major faculty advisor and in preparing both of you for an effective first meeting during New Student Orientation. Please complete this form by July 1.
