For First-Year Students

Welcome to Lewis & Clark!

Your first year at a liberal arts college is an opportunity to learn about fascinating new subjects, delve deeper into areas in which you already held an interest in high school, and begin exploring Lewis & Clark’s general education curriculum.

As you work through the items on your NSO Checklist, the College Advising Center is here to help you throughout the lead up to the fall semester, and beyond. You can start by exploring our advice in our “For First-Year Students” webpages to answer many of your questions about registration, placement exams, and which classes to choose.

You have been assigned a College Advisor, and, before the spring semester begins, you will also be matched with a Pre-Major Faculty Advisor.

Please contact the College Advising Center with any questions you have about your academic plans and progress: email your advisor in the College Advising Center or make an appointment (not sure who your College Advisor is? Check your LC email for a message from your individual CAC advisor after May 25!).
