About Us

Mission statement

The College Advising Center (CAC) supports students, faculty, and the liberal arts tradition of Lewis & Clark College. Through holistic advising, we empower undergraduate students to navigate their educational paths, respond to challenges, and develop autonomy and ownership of their academic goals.

Objectives

Through one-on-one conversations as well as outreach and events, we encourage students to develop realistic and informed educational plans. We help students understand institutional policies and procedures, utilize campus resources, and their progress toward graduation.

We train and work collaboratively with faculty advisors.

Our office works with instructors and staff to support students’ wellbeing and academic success.
