The purpose of the Pre-Health Professions Club is to foster community among pre-health students, raise awareness about on- and off-campus resources, and improve the success of pre-health students applying to graduate schools.

We hold many annual events to support students, including a healthcare career panel, CPR certification course, suture clinic, volunteering trips, visits by guest speakers, and monthly meetings. In addition, student club leaders provide peer advising and mentorship to younger students as they develop four-year plans and search for clinical opportunities in Portland.

Student leaders also act as advocates for all pre-health students and coordinate with faculty and staff to develop meaningful curriculum and opportunities for students. To learn how to get involved, e-mail the Pre-Health Professions Club at healthpro@lclark.edu.
