College Success Skills

Congratulations on making it into college!  STE is committed to providing assistance through academic support services in order to enhance each student’s success, persistence and engagement. We offer many different types of academic and co-curricular tools, and support for students, to help with your transition to LC and most importantly to help you meet your goals, overcome any personal or academic hardships, and achieve academic success. We have programs here that will help you to achieve your goals. Some of these programs include peer mentoring, coordination of study groups, workshops and how to be an active member of the community on campus. We strive to provide every possible opportunity for students to experience an active engagement to the campus community as well as to your own personal academic achievement.

Now that you are here, there are several skills that you will need to develop in order to be successful such as, time management, learning styles, and stress relief. Ultimately, you define your own success, but we are here to help! We invite you to stop in, make an appointment or sign-up for one of our workshops. You can always contact us via email at transitions@lclark.edu.
