LC Women take 4th at Women’s Champs

The LC women’s sailing team competed in the NW Women’s Championship. Lisa Hodges ‘11 and Melissa Rathbun ‘13 sailed A fleet. Sophie Harris ‘10 and Melina Gomez ‘13 sailed B fleet. 

The regatta was sailed in beautiful sunny and windy conditions on Bellingham Bay in Bellingham, WA in late April, 2010. The day began with a 15-20 mph southerly breeze, and died down throughout the day. 

The second day was much calmer, and B division sailed a couple races before racing was called off for the day. 

Hodges and Rathbun finished second in A division. Harris and Gomez finished 4th in B division. The team finished 4th overall.
