Lewis & Clark College’s Office of Student Transitions & Experiences seeks a dynamic, relationship-oriented individual to join our team for the 2012-13 academic year. The successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of our peer mentor program in its newly designed first phase of a three-year plan that will, by 2014, provide each new student a peer mentor in their first semester. Coordination includes and is not limited to: mentor training, programmatic development and promotion, facilitating conversations and cultivating relationships with campus stakeholders and partners, and advising of mentors. Additionally, our successful candidate will provide additional support to the office’s overall programs such as extended orientation (Beyond NSO), college success workshops (CSWs), our pre-orientation retreat called Great Expectations or ‘GE’, and individual student support, as needed. -
