Designated Smoking Area Exemption

The Lewis & Clark smoking policy permits smoking in designated areas (DSA’s) only.  Individuals may request an exemption from this policy related to cultural or religious ceremonies or events.  All such exemptions must be approved in writing in advance by the Associate Dean of Students/Director of Multicultural Affairs, who consults as needed with staff from each school.  To apply for an exemption, please complete the DSA Exemption Application (PDF).
