Interested in getting to know Portland’s diverse communities better? Then join OMA as we take a tour of the Black United Fund, a leading community organization in Northeast Portland. The Black United Fund strives to “assist in the social and economic development of Oregon’s low-income communities and to contribute to a broader understanding of ethnic and culturally diverse groups.” We will spend some time exploring their facilities and learning about both their history and what they hope to achieve in the future. So if you are interested in knowing about some amazing social justice work that is going on right in your backyard, this is a great way to do so! Lunch and transportation will be provided!

If you would like to sign up, please contact: cmatsumoto@lclark.edu
