The Importance of the Press in our Democracy with Mark Leibovich of The New York Times
Date: September 12 2012 7:00pm Location: Agnes Flanagan Chapel
Join Mark Leibovich, Chief National Correspondent for the Times Magazine as he speaks about The Importance of the Press in our Democracy. Mark’s presentation is going to be a discussion of how — in this scripted and overly produced political age — journalists can still uncover fresh and revealing details about our leaders. In Mark’s presentation, he includes stories of his experiences profiling political figures such as Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, John McCain, Dick Cheney and may others…
Mark also has a new book coming out in the spring of 2013. The working title for the book is The Club.
Advance requests for tickets are no longer required for admission.
Please join us at the Agnes Flanagan Chapel at 7pm.
