Copeland’s Area Director - Whitney DeGroff

       Hello Copeland Residents!!  Whitney DeGroff is your Area Director and will be available throughout the summer and academic year to support, educate, and advocate for student needs and wellness.

       Whitney was born and raised in Tigard, Oregon, only a few miles from L&C’s campus.  She is known for her big curly hair, recognizable laugh, and positive outlook on life.  After traveling to Massachusetts, Virginia, and Spain for her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Rehabilitation, Whitney returned home to Portland to be close to family and the great outdoors that Portland has to offer. This past May, Whitney completed her Masters of Education in the School Counseling program from the Lewis & Clark Graduate School.  In her free time you may find her to be skiing, paddleboarding, catching up on recommended TV shows, or laughing with friends.

         She is excited to meet and to build community within Copeland and the campus at large.  Feel free to reach out to her with any questions, concerns, or jokes!
