The Student Organizations Committee (SOC) is the coordinating committee for all of Lewis & Clark’s student groups and their leaders. This committee’s charge is to foster cooperation between student organizations and establish a link with student government. The committee also distributes funds collected from student fees among the various groups through an application process near the end of each academic year.

Applications are due on or before Thursday, September 15 by 5PM in the Cabinet office (slide under the door if no one is there) or email them to soc@lclark.edu.

2011-12 Budget Allocations
The budget application process has now begun. To receive a budget from the Student Organizations Committee, you must be a registered student organization for 2010-2011. There will be a REQUIRED meeting for student organization leaders on February 23rd in Howard 102 to explain the 2011-12 Budget Allocation application process. Budget applications must be received by soc@lclark.edu by 4 p.m. on March 18th to be considered for allocations. Organizations that fail to attend the Spring Student Leaders Meeting, turn their Budget Application in on time, attend their allocation interview, or otherwise fail to comply with SOC guidelines and expectations may be subject to application rejection and thus, not receive a budget for the 2011-2012 academic year.
