Associated Students of Lewis & Clark (ASLC)
New York Times Readership Program
Each day 350 papers are distributed across campus by students. The program was designed to provide students with a greater awareness of the world beyond Palatine Hill. Professors have also integrated the paper into their curriculum, and this has encouraged more thoughtful discussion across campus, This program is funded through student fees.
The New York Times also graciously sponsors events and programs to promote newspaper readership among students. These programs include: Crossword Puzzle Competition, "Times Talks," and a Faculty Workshop & Reception.
