Miller Foundation

Excellence in Science Education

The Miller Foundation funds build on existing strengths of science education at the college by providing our students with the best possible teaching and learning experiences in the sciences.

The Miller Foundation supports students through the following:

  • Providing research rich, cutting edge experiences for all students interested in pursuing  careers in science and technology.  For 2018 Summer Research Internship information and applications, please visit the Rogers Program.
  • Enhancing curriculum to provide students with a high quality undergraduate science education that will enable them to succeed in graduate and professional studies.
  • Support through need-based scholarships and internships for students in the sciences.
  • Increasing the pipeline of students interested in science through continued strengthening of our outreach programs and fostering interest in the sciences among students in high schools and community colleges throughout Portland.
