Alex Simon, BCMB ‘11 Receives a Goldwater Scholarship

Alex Simon, a junior from Louisville Kentucky was awarded a Barry M. Goldwater scholarship. Goldwater scholarships are considered the preeminent U.S. award for undergraduates preparing for careers in the sciences. Since 1995, eight other BCMB students have been recipients of this award. After graduation, Alex intends to pursue a Ph. D. in Neuroscience
