Multimedia: Students extend tradition, celebrate spring with Sunburn

Each spring since 1986, Lewis & Clark students have hosted the SUNBURN Music Festival, bringing local bands and major acts to campus for a full day of performances.

Each spring since 1986, Lewis & Clark students have hosted the SUNBURN Music Festival, bringing local bands and major acts to campus for a full day of performances. This year, KLC, the student-run radio station, and the Lewis & Clark Music Coalition joined forces to organize the epic event on April 10, featuring performances ranging from hip hop to punk, electronic to country, and more.

In the following video, organizers of this year’s concert, Kathryn Kucera ’12 and Jessica Lee ’12, discuss their goals for the event and former KLC staff member Murray Cizon BA ’98, associate director of alumni and parent programs, talks about the evolution of SUNBURN.
