Class of 2012 Commencement Banquet

Join graduating seniors, families, faculty, and friends for a special evening to celebrate the Class of 2012 and their achievements. Help us thank them for a great four years on campus, their contributions to the College and Portland community, and honor those who made their education possible.

   Banquet Meal

You are able to choose between a salmon, chicken, and vegetarian entree. If you have an allergy or intolerance, please indicate that on registration or email alumni@lclark.edu.

   Registration

$16 for graduating seniors, $36 for family members and friends before April 2. $26 for graduating seniors, $46 for family members and friends after April 2.

You are encouraged to register well before April 2 as seating can become limited.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the large volume of registrations for the event, the ballroom is at capacity. There is additional dinner seating located close to the ballroom in a separate room. The evening’s program will be simulcast in this room. Tickets for this seating are being sold at the discount rate of $16/senior and $36/per adult.

   Discounted Hotel Accommodations

Hilton Portland Hotel is offering a special discounted rate of $94/night for all Commencement guests, arriving as early as May 2 and departing as late as May 9.

The Hilton is generously donating a portion of the room proceeds to help Alumni & Parent Programs continue the deep subsidy of tickets for seniors to the Class of 2012 Commencement Banquet.

   Seating

Seating at the Banquet is preassigned. Each table seats 10 people.
Seating preferences will be taken into account, please indicate your preferences on the questionnaire when you register.

Prior to the Banquet, you will get an email confirming the names of people who are in your party and will be seated together.

   Dress

We encourage cocktail or business attire for this event.

   Parking and Directions

Parking is available at the Hotel, in downtown parking garages, and on the street. Visit this website for information on where to find street and garage parking. For a map of parking garages around the hotel, please click here. Parking garages typically charge hourly rates (see here for an example from Smart Park) and/or a flat evening parking fee. Street parking is $1.60 per hour until 7 p.m., after which it is free.

Parking at the hotel will be available at the following rates: $27 flat fee for valet parking; $20 flat fee for self-parking.
