Susana Sharp
Class of 1972, M.A.T. 1975Beaverton, OR
Susana Sharp, a triple alumna, received a bachelor of science degree in 1972 in elementary education and earned both a master of arts in teaching in 1975 and a masters in public administration from Lewis & Clark's graduate school in 1982. As an alumna, Susana has been involved with the College as an admissions volunteer, a contributor to the L&C Network, and a Phonathon Caller in May 1987. Susana has previously served on the Board of Alumni (1981 to 1992) and was the first Board of Alumni president to sit on the Board of Trustees.
Susana co-founded the Valley Conference Center in Beaverton. The Center had become "the place to meet" in Washington County per The Times, December 6, 1990.
Susana is a volunteer and went to India and Bangladesh in 2006 for the Hunger Project.
She is the proud mother of three children and three grandchildren. Her son R. Michael Meyers graduated from the College in 1984. Susana's mother was a student of Morgan Odell, first president of the College at the Fir Acres campus.
