Favorite spot on campus:  The Glade; throughout the year I can look out my office window and see people interacting in some way on the lawn - bands playing, BBQs, art installations, plastic sword fights, students reading and relaxing… it’s always entertaining.

Little-known fact about me:  I’m hopelessly addicted to crossword puzzles and HGTV.

Piece of advice for students in the college search process:   Pay attention to your intuition - only you will know what feels right.
Be nice to your parents - you may need them to buy you groceries or do your laundry sometime.
Make the most of high school - because you only get one shot (hopefully).

Favorite place to spend time in Portland:
Downtown - I always find something (or someone) new and interesting. Also, the Waterfront for relaxing and picnicking.

If I was stranded on a desert island, I would want these three things:
1. Oregon rain (if it’s a desert, water would be nice)
2. Mosquito repellant
3. A towel

If I didn’t work in Admissions, I would be:  performing on Broadway, writing novels, or studying and creating art.
