Hometown:  Born in Jackson, Oregon and moved to Portland at 5 months.

Fav place on campus:  Pamplin Sports Center.  I alternate between the pool, the weight room and the running trails all around campus every day.

Little known fact about me:  I taught school in Taihape, New Zealand for two years and Warsaw, Poland for 2 years.

Piece of advice for high school students in the college admissions process: Absorb everything you can about colleges,  filter it and then listen to your inner voice to find the best match for you.

Fav place to spend time in Portland:  I spend a lot of time running around Portland, frequently on the Wildwood Trail in Forest Park. Or you can find me climbing on Mount Hood.

If I were stranded on a deser t island I would want these 3 things: I would want my family most of all, but they probably wouldn’t want to be there.  So I’d be okay with: a kayak, my knife and cell phone reception. 

If I didn’t work in admissions I would be:  the same thing I was before I started working in admissions: a yoga teacher.
