Piece of advice for students in the college search process:  Searching for a college means finding a group of schools that are a match for you both in and out of the classroom.  Make sure you will be happy attending any of the schools on your list.  You shouldn’t apply to a college that you can’t see yourself at until graduation.

Favorite place to spend time in Portland:  the food carts

If I was stranded on a desert island, I would want these three things: a Sunday New York Times, my coffee mug, and sunscreen
