Hometown: That question is trickier than one would expect. I guess Wichita, KS. But I call Portland home now.

Favorite spot on campus: Copeland C50’s. It’s where my L&C life began and where I met all of my closest friends. I haven’t been back in a while but the connection is still very strong.

Little-known fact about me: I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE CHICAGO CUBS!!! Go Cubbies!!!

Piece of advice for students in the college search process: I strongly believe in gut instincts. Visit campus and let the rest flow from there. However, you still have to play an active role. Ask questions (lots of them), talk to current students and professors, go to an event on campus, try and figure out what L&C would be like for you.

Favorite place to spend time in Portland: It depends on the mood I’m in. I have my favorite coffee-shop where I go to get work done. I do all my Christmas shopping in Powell’s bookstore. On a sunny weekend day I love browsing the Saturday Market and people-watching on the Waterfront.

If I was stranded on a desert island, I would want these three things: My best friend Emily, a radio that gets at least one good country station, and an endless supply of chocolate.

If I didn’t work in Admissions, I would be: working with babies, somehow.
