Studio Art (Photography)
I think the most important thing to remember when choosing a school is that you need to find a place where you see yourself being happy for the next four years. That is more important than going someplace that your parents want you to go.
For me, L&C is right because of the people. Everyone is so chill and relaxed, and it's easy to get to know so many people. I spend a lot of time with my friends hanging out downtown, going to concerts, shopping, watching movies, and listening to music.
The most important thing to me, though, is photography. I love to take pictures, and there's nowhere more beautiful than campus to do it.

Music
The thing I like most about Lewis & Clark is the community and the professors. My favorite class that I have taken so far has been Introduction to the Short Story. I am currently on the London Overseas Program to study music, art, theatre and British culture.
Some of the things I like to do in my spare time are hang out with friends, read, listen to music, play music, and play pool. I also sing in Cappella Nova and play in a student band on campus.
My advice to prospective students is to find someplace that hooks you and makes you feel utterly comfortable.
