Lewis & Clark has allowed me to combine several of my passions. I love playing guitar and writing songs, blogging, and Spanish.
I am currently on the Dominican Republic overseas program. The study abroad programs that L&C has for Hispanic Studies and SOAN are really great.
When I'm on campus, I sing in one of our several very talented a capella groups (Momo & The Coop) and we released our second album last year! I also get to help out as a web assistant for New Media.
I think that we are incredibly lucky to have such a close-knit community of students, faculty, and staff that help each other to learn and grow in amazing ways. I love that I can participate in any activity on campus that sounds interesting.
For any potential student, I would recommend that you visit campus and feel it out. There is no way to know for certain, but if you do an overnight stay you will get a good feel for the campus and its students and professors. The feelings you take away from a visit are more important than how the college looks on paper.
