November Open House

The Office of Admissions and the entire Lewis & Clark community invite you and your family to attend November Open House. We invite students from across the United States to join us for a day to learn firsthand about the Lewis & Clark experience. The schedule below is tentative and will be updated as it is finalized.
8:15-9:00 Registration & Continental Breakfast – Diane Gregg Pavilion
Feel free to head into the Chapel after breakfast, as one of our a cappella groups will be singing!
9:00-9:30 Welcome & Opening Remarks – Agnes Flanagan Chapel
9:30-10:30 Student Panel & Parent Panel
Students, earn from your peers what the Lewis & Clark experience is all about. A variety of current students talk about life on Palatine Hill. Find out about life in the residence halls, clubs and activities, overseas programs, and much, much more.
Parents, join staff from around campus to get the insider’s view of Lewis & Clark. Cards will be provided for you to write down your questions for the panel.
10:45-11:30 Discovering Lewis & Clark: Academic Life at the College – Agnes Flanagan Chapel
Members of our faculty will present on the academic life and liberal arts curriculum at L&C.
11:30-1:30 Brunch – Fields Dining Room, Templeton Campus Center
Sample our food service, Bon Appetit, and eat with members of the Lewis & Clark community.
11:45, 12:45 and 1:45 Campus Tours – Diane Gregg Pavilion
The full-campus walking tours are led by student guides, and they are a great way to get a feel for the entire campus! Tours include visiting the residential area of campus and also the academic facilities. Your assigned tour time and color can be found in your registration packet.
11:45-12:30 Admissions & Financing Your Education – Council Chamber, Templeton Campus Center
Attend a discussion about the admissions process, merit scholarships, and need-based financial aid with Erica Johnson, Director of Admissions, and Anastacia Dillon, Director of Financial Aid.
1:45-2:45 Optional Workshop Sessions:
Essay Writing, Financial Aid, Campus Visit and Interview, Parent Involvement
1:30, 2:00, and 2:30 Optional Interviews for Senior Students - Manor House
A limited number of interviews will be available for seniors applying through any of our application paths (including Early Action, Early Decision or Regular Decision). Interviews are not required for admission.
*Note: A limited number of interviews will be available in the afternoon for students who are from areas we are not able to visit. Please use the comments box on the reply form to request an interview, and we will be in touch if there is availability.
12:00-3:00 Open House - Manor House
Stop by the Manor to chat with admissions counselors and pick up brochures.
