Jan Chernus

Jan Chernus began her career at Bob’s Red Mill in 1998 as the company’s first sales rep for the Western US.  Jan was involved in business development for both large grocery and natural accounts and then she began working with the fast growing e commerce trade.  She was appointed VP of International Sales in 2013.  Prior to working at Bob’s Red Mill Jan worked as a foodservice manager for an in-patient nonprofit treatment center in Portland.  Jan holds a business degree with a major in International Business and a minor in French from Hofstra University in New York and a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from San Francisco State University.  Jan sits on the ESOP committee at Bob’s Red Mill.  The goal of the committee is to communicate and educate employee owners about the ESOP.

Jan is the proud parent of an alumna of both the Lewis and Clark undergraduate and the Law School.

Bob and Charlee Moore, founders of Bob’s Red Mill and founders of the Institute for Nutrition and Wellness at OHSU (Oregon Health Sciences University) aim to halt the rampant health problems caused by unhealthy eating and inadequate nutrition through cutting-edge research and community outreach.
