Yuet “Shishei” Tsang M.A. ’19
Graduate Student Assistant
Shishei was born and raised in Hong Kong, and immigrated to California when she was 12.
She studied at California State University, Fullerton and received her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, minored in Human Services. She graduated cum laude and was the Outstanding Thematic Plan Graduate of the Liberal Studies department. During her undergraduate career, Shishei was an active student leader advanced in multiple departments. Positions she held include Orientation Leader, Orientation Programs Student Coordinator, and Freshman Programs Senior Peer Mentor. She also worked as a Titan Ambassador (tour guide) and an Information Specialist to assist campus guests at CSUF. In addition, she was a fellow of the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Programs (NUFP) from 2015 to 2017.
Shishei will be starting her first year in graduate school to pursue her master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration at Lewis & Clark College. She looks forward to learn about student development theories, to explore different functional areas in Student Affairs, and to continue to research restorative justice in higher education. Meanwhile, she is excited to be one of the Graduate Student Workers for the Alumni & Parents Programs and to be part of all the exciting alumni and parent events!
Shishei is an artist and loves to create during her free time. She believes that art connects everyone. Other than being a Student Affairs professional, becoming a tattoo artist is also one of her life goals!
