Basira graduated from Dagestan State University in Russia, where she studied English, French and foreign literatures. After her graduation she has taught English and French at schools, educational centers and universities. She loves teaching languages and finds it important to include cultural aspects in her language teaching.
Basira is passionate about art. She loves oil painting and often participates in art exhibitions. She is also interested in folk dancing, cooking and travelling.
Her native town Makhachkala is located in the North Caucasus. The North Caucasus is considered to be a unique place in the Russian Federation because of its ethnic and linguistic diversity. Beautiful nature and culture of this region always have attracted famous writers and artists such as Leo Tolstory, Mikhail Lermontov, Alexander Pushkin, Ivan Aivazovsky and many others.
