Laure Dutirou-Mason joined the faculty of Lewis and Clark College in 2016 as an instructor of French. Originally from Southwestern France, she received her Maîtrise in Langues étrangères appliquées in Toulouse in 1998. She completed her Master’s degree in Translation Studies at the University of Ottawa, Canada (2002) with a thesis on the Pedagogy of translation from Spanish to French. After working as a translator for the Royal Canadian Mint, she taught French at the University of Chicago and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
